Michelle M. Mann is an Ottawa based consultant and writer.          

A lawyer since 1996,  her work focuses primarily on current legal and policy matters.  She offers writing, policy analysis/ advice and consulting services in numerous areas, specializing in Aboriginal issues, social justice and human rights.

Michelle commenced her legal career in litigation later moving on to practice Aboriginal law with both the federal Department of Justice and the Indian Claims Commission of Canada.

Michelle is currently working on an LL.M (Masters of Laws) in Aboriginal law at Queen's University but remains available for consulting and writing projects.

Consulting services include researching and writing reports, articles and book chapters as well as developing policy recommendations on a wide variety of Aboriginal, diversity and gender equality issues.   Michelle also develops training modules and presentations.
